Join our Finance team as a Senior Financial Analyst and be responsible for providing detailed analytical support to improve business performance. This position provides financial and operational analytics, budgeting and forecasting leadership, trend analysis, business insights, qualitative assessment of risks and opportunities, and recommendations based on advanced financial analysis. In addition, the Sr. Financial Analyst will be a key leader in aligning system capabilities with the organization’s strategic goals.

Work Environment: Collaborative open office setting.

Job Duties & Responsibilities: Work across the Museum to prepare accurate budgets/forecasts and to recommend and establish strategies, plans, and processes to improve margin and cost efficiencies. Review and challenge, as appropriate, key assumptions, drivers, and metrics used to develop budget and forecasts. Collaborate across departments to lead financial impact analysis on projects. Partner with the Accounting department to ensure the accuracy of financial results. Develop and maintain financial reports to clearly communicate actual results, forecasted performance, and variances to plan, forecast, and budget. Understand organizational reporting needs, financial acumen, identify gaps in system capabilities and end-user skills and provide support and recommendations. Identify and implement process improvements; support and drive positive change Performs other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field. Demonstrated experience in Finance or related field. Ability to utilize all aspects of technology, including computer hardware and software. Proven ability in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Excel).

Preferred Qualifications: Combination of for-profit and non-profit industry experience. Ability or familiarity with Google Sheets, MS Access, Abila / Sage, Microix. Cultural competency and experience working with diverse communities. Willingness to be open and respectful of all backgrounds. Fluency in language(s) other than English valued (Hmong, Somali, Spanish).

Hiring Pay Range: $70,000 – 75,000+ annually / Depending on Qualifications.
