Re; Fraudulent Conduct by Hilten D. Ratanjee, CPA?, MST Dear Sir; Hilten D. Ratanjee, CPA, MST is the most Dishonest Character and a Con Artist individual, I have encountered in years. On or about 4/2/2016, I purchased a “ supposedly good “ Toshiba E-Studio 350/450 copier from Ratanjee, CPA. He personally represented to me that the copier was in an excellent working order. I relied on his presentation that he made to me knowingly, not knowing the true nature of his character to be discovered shortly after, as the most dishonest character, I have seen in years. I relied on his presentation and purchased his copier. I paid him $ 400. Cash for the copier. I asked him for a receipt. Ratanjee was reluctant and did not want to make me a receipt. I was persistent, Rantanjee then made me a receipt. The receipt did not mention that the copier was in desperate need of repairs. I immediately took the copier to a professional copy repair center, which I have known and trust for years with excellent reputation. They inspected the Copier and reported to me that I had been “DUPED” that there were error codes for the main Motor and the Drum Drive Motor at costs of $595. and $ 189. respectively for parts only, not including labor indicating the copier could not Have been functional. I immediately tried contacting Ratanjee, who then was not available and did not return my calls. I then sent him an email indicating, that I was retuning the copier and wanted my money back. At no time did I receive a call from Ratanjee or/and his office. In case of FRAUD the Law requires at a minimum the following four Items; False presentation, Knowingly making the False presentation, Non performance, and consequential damages. In the case of Ratanjee all the above are true and therefore his conduct is and has been FRAUDULENT. You would normally expect such behavior from a Hood and a Con Artist, but not from a CPA and relying on his presentation and his credentials. I am concurrently contacting the State of California to verify if he even is a CPA. I would at no time trust this character with my money, my financial information, let alone dealing with him period. Truly yours, Andy Atighi
