Absolute joke. I've used Glenolden Tax Service for 26 years and until Mr Smith took over in 2015 it's was great. Since then horrible. Never answers phone, never returns a message if you can leave one and the phones not disconnected, and if you do get through and ask a question you get "disconnected" Recieved letters From IRS about previous years returns and he's nowhere to be found. Parents never received rebates for a couple years and were told it was handled. Calling and calling never an answer. Went there recently to find new owners and a line of clients including myself who were upset about mistakes and issues with items being filed. Absolutely a disgrace.

Services provided:

Mr. Smith inaccurately prepared my 2015 tax return. He filed my wife's W2 under my name instead of under my wife's and miscalculated my SS taxes. The IRS confirmed his mistake. 18 months later, I receive a CP22A indicating I owe over $1k in back taxes with 4 weeks to pay with penalties and interest. Bill does not return your calls, emails, nothing. Consult an attorney before enlisting Mr. Smith for tax preparation services.

Mr. Smith prepared my taxes on 2.6/2016. He forgot the 8962 form. I got a letter from the IRS. Mr. Smith was supposed to reissue my IRS with the correct form. He never told me that I had a $1,200.00 deficit from the original filing. He stated that he sent the signed amended forms in to the IRS. They never received them. I fought the IRS for 4 months to get the 2016 tax correct. I tried to contact Mr. Smith by phone, e-mail, and my pasting notes at his work office since April 26th for a month. There were no answers, no calls, or e-mail. Avoid this tax person at all costs. I spent hours getting this mess fixed.

Horrible service. Filed on 2/19/16 in office. Still no refund has been received and mr smith does not return phone calls or messages given to him. He might need to reanalyze his capabilities. You should not take on a large volume of people if you can't handle it. Oh and I forgot to mention that he whole time I was in his office he used profanity "f" and told me numerous stories about over clients. Totally unprofessional.
