It really pains me to write this review. I had been going to Paul for several years now. It's quite a haul to get there but I always thought it was worth it for his expertise. The past couple of years we had other accountants but not Paul. My husband and I went for our appointment on time and we waited nearly an hour to get called in. Paul was in the office and had to run out and left us with another accountant and I don't think she knew what she was doing. Not badmouthing her, she may have been new. After another 20 minutes of just sitting there another woman came in and started our taxes finally. Anyway, long story short, we finished them, signed them and she was unable to submit them because the wifi was not working. She told me to call to be sure they were submitted. This was Saturday so I called on Tuesday and Paul picked up the phone and said they were submitted. I asked a question about federal taxes as my husband and I are retired but I am temping at my old place of employment. He answered me very abruptly and said he was with another client. How was I supposed to know! Why did you pick up the phone? Unfortunately, we will find another accountant next year.

Paul is a bit weird but he knows his stuff and he is courteous. He was able to leagally reallocate some expenses to lower taxable income. This was the highest return I have received yet.I did my taxes about 2 weeks ago and I received both my fed and states. Price was a little high ($250) but was reassured it will be lower next year. I recommend!

My husband and I filed our taxes with Paul and his staff back on 2/13. We received a letter from the IRS in the beginning of March saying that information was missing from our health insurance and our refund was on hold until the correct information was received. We went back to Paul asking for help and the processes has been nothing less than a nightmare. He and his staff are unprofessional and very unhelpful. Go else where to get your taxes done, I will be next year. If i could give him no stars, I would.

Been going to Paul's for a few years; a little quirky but very nice guy. He knows his stuff and does a good job, recommend.

Did my taxes on the 11th of Feb this year. It is now March 3rd and I still havent received my return. Called Paul and was told in his exact words "your return bounced back on the IRS website for some reason". So now I have to wait another week and a half to even see my Fed return since it was Never submitted. My brother did his the same day and received his ten days later. I also called a week before and twice was assured everything was all set on their end. Obviously once they take your money they are not concerned with any follow up to your return, mine was all but five minutes of work for the lady that served me and my brother. Will be doing my taxes elsewhere next year and will notify my family to do the same.

Very professional and courteous. Articulate as well would recommend to anyone.
