Matthew Stephens of Hollywood, FL. Is one of the worst Tax Professionals in the state of Florida. My Business partner shared her screen with him as he reviewed and copied those personal financial documents, then never called, texted, mailed, or followed up in any capacity. Several messages and phone calls were left by my Business Partner to no avail. I finally got involved and he denied all communication with her via a Zoom meeting. He refused to speak with me nor update me in any capacity, although I am the majority owner of the company. He finally admitted that since my business partner who is a female had been referred by one his social companions from the area, who also was a female companion, that he had decided not to represent the company for any tax preparation or filings, because he felt there was a connection between him and my Female Business Partner after he saw her on the Zoom Meeting. Obviously this man lacks any professionalism and I demanded any and all financial documents he obtained doing the course of several Zoom meetings, as he lacks the professionalism and integrity to do any business filings on the behalf of my company. To date, he has not returned any of the documents that my Business Partner shared with him.
