After completing this years taxes with Milton Whitley, I took my taxes to another preparer to compare before filing. The difference was eye opening. They knew a lot more about the tax laws and found 2 errors in my taxes. They saved me over a thousand more than Milton. I learned they are professionals managed by a CPA. Milton is not. He is parttime and spends the rest of his time as a substitute teacher in Sunnyvale and Mesquite Tx. He also works in a food truck at the fair. He always represented himself as a professional but I should have checked out his claims. I could have saved thousands on my taxes.

I've had Express File Tax Service do my taxes twice. Both times it was a slow process and he never met his deadlines. There were always errors that I found and had to correct. I had to take off work to meet with him again to fix his errors. Then he upped the price. He agreed to a price but then changed it right before filing, which is why I won't go back there. I feel like for the lateness, errors, taking time off work, and all of my effort, I shouldn't have to pay more. He should honor the original agreed-to price.
