Client Reviews of Logan J. Darensburg

Logan Darensburg's ineptitude should disqualify him from preparing taxes. First, he accused my husband of not submitting information needed to complete our 2018 taxes, however, that information was indeed submitted via email. My husband and I resubmitted documents in May of 2020. Darensburg did not complete preparation of the taxes until August 2020, which is an unreasonable amount of time. On October 14, 2020, I received notification from the NC Department of Revenue notifying me that there is an error on the 2018 tax preparation and that I would not receive a refund, instead, I owed money, a late fee, and interest. The error as explained by the Department of Revenue Agent was "simple math." I notified Darensburg by email on October 14 and 21 and by phone on October 21. Darensburg never responded to the email, but called on October 21. Darensburg denies the error and ensured me that he would get back to me with resolution by October 23. He has yet to respond. Darensburg is inadequate.
