DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!! Expose Tax Services has the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Please take your business elsewhere. I had to return to Expose Tax Services several times because of their lack of communication and unprofessional behavior. This “company” is a joke and their employees are the worst. READ REVIEWS BEFORE VISITING THEM!! Several customers are being audited because of Expose’s poor tax preparation methods. When I first visited Expose Tax Services there was a male employee eating at the front desk and talking to me with his mouth full of food. At this point I should have just left but decided to stay because I drove an hour to get there. Then he told me that Tiffany (The owner and ONLY tax preparer) was not available even though I had called ahead of time to make sure she would be there. So I left my information and tax documents with them and waited for Tiffany to call me back with a quote. The “office manager” called me a week later at 9:00PM at night and provided me with my tax return amount. I had a few questions for Tiffany concerning my tax return but the “office manager” told me that Tiffany was too busy to talk to me and if I wanted to speak with her that I had to go wait in line at the office. After several attempts to communicate with Tiffany I was unsuccessful so I decided to just go ahead and file my taxes. They told me my paperwork would be ready on Wednesday March 15th and that all I had to do was come in and sign. I showed up on Wednesday March 15th and my tax return was not ready. They acknowledged their mistake and assured me they would be ready in two days. I called back two days later to ask if they took credit cards as a form of payment. The receptionist assured me that they my taxes were ready and that I could pay with my credit card. So I get there with my credit card in hand, ready to get this nightmare over with and was told that they don’t take credit card payments. At this point I just had enough and asked for my tax documents back. They had the audacity to tell me that if I wanted my original tax documents back, that I had to pay them $25. They were basically holding my personal property hostage until I paid them, which is illegal. Save yourself the headache and take your business elsewhere.
