Richard has prepared my taxes for the last 4 years, and has done a good job. In June of this year I sent my tax forms to him for 2018. I have been calling his office and emailing him for 4 months, and I have been told 8 different times by Richard or his secretary that my taxes would be done today. The last phone conversation was yesterday, October 5th, and he has not kept his word again. The deadline for filing late is October 15th. I don’t understand why he continues to tell me my taxes will be finished, when he has no intention of finishing them. In 45 years in the business world, I have never encountered such unprofessional behaviour. I don’t know what to do.
