Worst customer you could get!! called in to try to make appointment and to get a price. Was given some unnecessary attitude that I did not need to receive as a potential customer!

I went to Peter Wong for tax services. My experience with him was horrible. I do not recommend this guy for any services. I have never experienced such awful services/person in my life. If I could rate in in the negatives, I would. 1) When I stepped into his office it was so disorganized and the dirtiest place I have ever been to. There were left over beer cans, left over paper plates that had nasty pizza grease on it that looked like it had been there for years, random pieces of paper everywhere, just trash in the office everywhere that he didn't throw out. It's like he is some kind of hoarder. 2) He was very rude. When I went to his office to talk to him, I asked him if he would be able to complete my taxes the next day. Mind you, I was just asking, I didn't expect him to finish it in one day, but just wanted to ask because I know some other tax prepares were willing to do that. He started to get annoyed with me and saying I was "complicated". He also got annoyed with me when I brought up that I called previously to ask about tax services and asked about the pricing. Someone in his office said that since my taxes were not that complicated that the price would be $40. When I went there, I asked him to confirm that the price was $40. He was very rude and started saying that I was annoying and that I am making things complicated for him. I told him that this is what was said on the phone and he said, "Your making things complicated for me by asking me to finish your taxes the next day and paying $40, I don't want to deal with this, you can go somewhere else". I was astonished how rude someone could be. I was just asking to confirm and he automatically yelled at me. He could have been polite about it, but no, he decided to berate a customer and acted very unprofessional! 3) When he finally decided to agree to $40, I gave him my paper work. Thinking back on it, I should have went to someone else, but I was in a time crunch and need my taxes done because the deadline was coming up. The knowledge he had about taxes were horrible, or he was just plain lazy. He asked for the usual W2, health insurance, bank account documents, etc, but did not ask about other expenses that could be used to maximize your tax return. He does not care about helping his customer maximize their return. He just wants to do minimal work and just get paid. I even heard Peter say to the gentleman in front of me that he would take the other expense documents even though they weren't useful (although I doubt this....) because that means that the gentleman would be paying him more. He does not care about his customers and does not care about maximizing your return, all he wants to do is do minimal work to get paid. Overall, I would not recommend Peter Wong for any services. His office is dirty and disgusting, he is rude to his customers and does not care about them, and he is horrible at his job because he is lazy and wants to do minimal work. There are better tax prepares out there that would help to maximize your return and are a lot more professional than this guy, and who cost the same amount of money for their services.
