Client Reviews of Gerald Dottery

Well I met with Gerald Dottery and we went over my taxes and he gave me a price. Well he filed my taxes and stated to me that instead of owing the IRS, they were going to owe me and was going to have to pay me with interest. Well when it came down to it.... Gerald was incorrect!! Not only did I owe the IRS, the kept my other two years of returns and according to the IRS, I still owe them money! When it came down to having to call the IRS to check on the status of my ammended return Gerald was no where to be found! He decided not to return my calls, text, or emails! All said and done, Gerald not only caused more of a problem between me and the IRS!! Worst thing about it... I paid him to him in full and now owe the IRS more money than I originally did! So if you are looking for help with your taxes, run like hell as fast as you can from this fool!! He's a crook and will take your money and run from you. When you need him he's nowhere to be found! However, I truly believe in karma, one day he will get his. Don't be fooled by his so called Christian life. I don't look at Jesus as a crook!! But I now look at GERALD DORRETY as THIEF that he is!! BEWARE!!! I used Gerald at Money Concepts and he stole my refund money. I had my refund being mailed in paper form and waited for weeks all the while Mr Dottery assured me everything was ok and it would come in. I had used him before so I was not worried. Then he stopped accepting my calls. I went to the IRS office to see what was going on. He had changed the paperwork and had the money put into HIS bank account. I filed form after form with the IRS, and even went to his bank, the end result, he had closed his bank account, the IRS could not retrieve the money from the account so they could not help me in getting my money. They said this was a common practice and since his account was closed they could not retrieve the funds to pay me. He conned me and all I can do is file complaints and post reviews to warn others. BEWARE!
