Client Reviews of Joretta A. Landreth, CPA

We have used Joretta Landreth's Tax Service since 2011 and never had a problem until this year. Our return was electronically filed and we were given amounts for both State and Federal Refunds. We received our Federal and the amount was as Ms. Landreth stated on the return. However when we received our State Refund it was $1800.00 less. A day or so after the deposit we received a letter of explanation from the Oklahoma Tax Commission. Not being an accountant we did not understand any of it. We took it immediately to Ms. Landreth in hopes of getting an explanation. She was very vague and non-comittal and promised to look into and get back with us. She didn't get back with us. We called half dozen times over the next few weeks and Ms. Landreth returned none of our calls. We then made another copy of the Tax Letter, attached a note asking Ms. Landreth to please respond in some manner and left it with her receptionist. She didn't respond to that request either. As paying clients of Ms. Landreth we feel we were definitely entitled to an explanation, or at the very least return our phone calls and say she didn't know. For any business/organization to completely ignore a paying client, is in our opinion, totally unacceptable business practice. Obviously we will not be using Ms. Landreth's services again.
