I would give zero stars if I could. I can't understand how Peter can actually be an accountant. Countless mistakes throughout the process. Several typos on the forms submitted. I had an entire year receiving letters both from the IRS and NYS about the mistakes made on several forms, and found out on my own that my tax return only got delayed for over 1 year (2021 still processing) because of all the mistakes made. Not only that, but Peter is also not responsive or apologetic. Never admitted his mistakes (his answers are always "ugh, the IRS doesn't know what they are doing"), hung up on me in various calls when I needed information so I could fix my own taxes (after spending several hours on the phone with the IRS and NYS). Ended up that I pretty much had to do everything on my own, and I still await for my return 14 months later. Also I just happened to find out recently that he filed my corporate taxes late (even though my paperwork was dropped on the first week of tax season) and received a penalty for it. Rude Peter after several calls said he would mail a check to cover. Been 10 days, no check. If you need to waste a lot of your own time fixing tax mistakes made by this "accountant", Peter is your guy! Do not give your business in case you need things done right. This is not an accountant at all.

Pete is awful and I highly encourage you to go elsewhere. He doesn't request the proper documents, never finishes taxes while you're present, you request him to add things and he'll agree but in the end never follows through, has put the wrong accounts on our return twice now, never owns up to his mistakes, cost us thousands to pay back to IRS because of his careless mistakes and lack completing the job 100%. He also cost a close friend of ours $8,000 months after he submitted the taxes bc he didn't request required documents. Because of him being lazy and screwing up their taxes they now have gotten audited 3yrs in a row. Basically if you want to have nothing but problems he's your guy.
