Client Reviews of Lindsay Ott, EA

Lindsay initially was very responsive and appeared to be a legitimate tax professional after we hired her for the 2021 and 2022 tax years. She made us believe that everything was taken care of. We're now finding out that she never actually filed our taxes, just extension after extension, and is now completely unresponsive after taking our payment. We're pursuing options to report fraud and get our money back.

My interaction with Lindsay started off well but she very abruptly stopped communication right after sending us draft tax returns to review and sign. She gave me a time to call her and discuss questions and finalize returns then disappeared into thin air when I called her on the agreed upon time without any explanation whatsoever. I contacted her many times after confused and got no response at all. Has no clue about professionalism and unfortunately she’s not all there either. She pretends to be her own assistant when called and is just a shame overall, makes false promises and leaves clients hanging right before the tax filing deadline.
