I am David A. Kirst, an active licensed California Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with an undergraduate degree in accounting and graduate degree in taxation.

Professional standards require me to keep up with the tax law changes. I pass this information on to my clients to maximize the tax benefit and minimize the tax liability and compliance costs.

My expertise is in closely held business and individual taxes. Most of my clients run an S corporation, partnership, or single member LLC in the areas of real estate, professional services or distribution/manufacturing.

My objective with both business and individual tax returns is to simplify the information requests, and expedite the filing process.

As a sole practitioner I do the interview, the data input, the review, and the tax filing. This is advantageous over a larger firm because I am intimately familiar with all of the details of your tax returns. It also requires from a time management perspective, that I do not generally meet face-to-face during the process. I leverage email and phone conversations to obtain requested information while maintaining the quality of the tax returns.
