Daniel Allen earned both an undergraduate degree and a Masters of Accountancy at Kansas State University. Mr. Allen has accounting and consulting experience dating back to 1999.

Throughout his career, Mr. Allen has been involved in Consulting, Management Advisory Services, Auditing, Taxation including IRS Representation and IRS Negotiations, Government and Regulatory Compliance, Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance, Business Valuations, Litigation Support and Expert Witness Testimony as well as Fraud Prevention and Fraud Examinations.

Mr. Allen received, on behalf of the firm, The Best of 2012 and 2013 Overland Park Award Program for Tax Services. He has written many articles on tax policy and the affect various tax code changes and politics affect individuals and the population. Recently, Robin Willis, the owner of Lawrence Lawn Care, and a client of the firm, drafted a public testimonial after Mr. Allen represented the company at an IRS Audit. Mr Allen saved the client $48,000 that the IRS claimed was due based on the originally filed tax return. The IRS closed their file on the matter and issued a “no change report” accepting the tax return as originally filed.

Mr. Allen completes well over the minimum required eighty hours of continuing professional education biennially reflecting his participation in a wide array of client engagements.

Mr. Allen is a Certified Public Accountant with a Certificate and Active Permit to Practice issued by the State of Kansas. Mr. Allen is a Member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and has experience assisting attorneys in civil litigation as well as working with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies on criminal fraud cases.
