My name is Shannon Stewart. I have been preparing personal income tax returns for 7 years. I have worked for Jackson Hewitt Tax Service for that amount of time. I first started in December of 2011 after completing the Basic Tax Preparation Course that is offered by Jackson Hewitt in the Fall of each year. I worked in London as a Tax Preparer for 4 years then I was promoted to Office Manager/Supervisor over 3 offices in Corbin and Williamsburg, Kentucky. I worked as Manager for 2 seasons (2015 and 2016) and now I have returned to London as a Tax Preparer for this upcoming tax year 2017. I have completed several different types of returns; such as, rental income, farm income, self employment income, gambling income, dividends, stocks and bonds, and other wage income based returns. I have experience with deductions, expenses, and other itemizations. This job has been a very rewarding and humbling experience for me personally. I look forward to each season so that I can get back in the office and help my returning clients as well as helping out first time clients. I love being able to help them during this difficult and stressful time of year. Because of that gratification I return every year ready to help any client that I can.
