Bob Hunter, EA - Lee's Summit MO Tax Preparer

Bob Hunter has "prepared" my taxes for several years and he is always late filing them. I would highly suggest you find someone else to file for you. Bob has taken a whole year to file my 2018 taxes (when I met with him he stood me up the first time, then when I got my 2018 infor to him in April, he was "busy" but promised he would file an extension and get to them asap. I didnt hear anything for a few months so called and he said he was working on a big client and that he would get to mine in July, then by the end of July, then he was out of town but promised to have them done when he got back, then by Oct, and now it's almost Feb of 2020 and he has "lost" my stuff. This has prevented me from getting a HELOC, and applying for a mortgage, and I am leaving the country for 2 years in Feb and have been stressing out for the better part of a year and have been prevented from getting a home loan, and purchasing a home, which subsequently tanked my credit score, all because my taxes arent done! Bob has quit responding to my phone calls. He has all of my paperwork, and so even if I wanted to have someone else prepare my taxes, I couldnt, because I don't have anything to give them, because Bob lost it. Absolutely horrible. I feel like my hands are tied and I'm being tortured.
