I have over 25 years experience in financial services. I started my career in the investment industry. I have had an exciting career from the opportunity to work on the floor of the American Stock Exchange to covering 16 different states as a Mutual Fund Representative, to living and working in Victoria, BC Canada for five years.

I earned my Certified Financial Planner™ designation in 2005, which was the first time I really studied taxes and the implications of tax planning. When I created my own Registered Investment Advisory firm, I decided to revisit my tax education. I felt earning my Enrolled Agent designation would give me the opportunity to better service my investment clients.

I find that having clients that are a mix of tax only, investment only and a combination of doing both give me an opportunity to learn in both disciplines.
