Everyone has a story... I’m no different....
At an interview not too long ago, the discussion of my career came up. I was asked:
"Please sum up your One Perfect Client"

I pondered in reply; I’m finding it difficult to answer..
She looked perplexed and said why..

I said, That One Perfect Client doesn’t exist, if I can explain as my answer still rings true today, I’d like to tell you a little story..

I believe you have to know where you came from, to know where you are going in life and to know what your purpose truly is...
I believe, my journey, all these years, has been about this big puzzle that I’m determined to put together. Each life I have come in contact with, has become a piece to that puzzle. I have found that each client I meet is Unique, Needed and most of all Valued.

Have you ever asked yourself, when choosing someone in my field; What are you really looking for?

I'm not your ordinary Tax Accountant, on a daily basis I meet and greet people wherever I go.
Getting to know someone, "Is Key" to a successful relationship. I was taught, that it was imperative to be a good listener, take your time to get to know someone. My Father called it "Peeling Back the Onion" ever since, I'm happy to report, I've plowed a field of relationships, a lot of them forged into Life Long Friendships.

I excelled when I took that advice, in a vast array of employment specialty fields, where I have utilized my Skill Set in Taxation, Accounting, Document Examination and Customer Service, for the betterment of the people, my clients, the young to the elderly, multi-generations. Preparing Individual returns to Small Businesses returns.

I feel each conversation I have with them, is like speaking to my grandfather, or my own child. I take their stories to heart...for over 25+ years..

Most of those years were spent working with industries of Construction Development, Project and Community Management, Real Estate, etc. Auditing, Mergers, Acquisitions, and Forensic Documentation..
The loyalty of these clients allowed me to become a successful business owner, always remembering to stay grounded, focused. Yet be well-rounded with family, business and charity.

Regularly, I give of my time and other resources to communities through my founded charity “Wings of Angels” helping individuals in domestics situations, special needs and the homeless.

I have achieved this with the relationships I gained trust through my business experience and a vast array of connections in different types of small businesses and networking organizations.

Growing up in a large family I became the inquisitive one, having the thirst for knowledge seemed to mold me into the type of person that I’ve become. It has allowed me to provide my clients with an extensive amount of experience, knowledge and advice, to serve them in a way that is Unique only to "Me", together with a personality that is approachable, always a smile on my face as well as in my voice. I feel sets me apart from the rest!

Keeping up with the ever-changing Tax Laws, especially with the 2018 Tax Reform, queries from clients. Writing up “Tax Homework” reading IRS Publications had become the norm for me. Shortly after meeting my husband, Dave. It had become apparent to him that Tax Publications will always be my bed-time stories..

I try to be an asset to my current and prospective clients. I’ve found over time that it had become absolutely necessary to take extra time to explain the importance of different IRS Forms, Retention of Records (in the event they are ever Audited or asked for additional information), Fines the IRS can and will impose if not followed. As a Tax Preparer, we are only capable of preparing tax returns given the accurate information from the clients, knowing the IRS audits a minimum of 1% of filed returns, therefore Organization of the packet is very important for future reference.

I pride myself on the fact that NO, I don’t know all the answers to questions one may ask me, i’d rather not give the wrong answer or simple dismiss them. If I don’t know something, I will do my best to research the answer or refer to the right person.

The final questions of the interview:
Why do, I do, what I do? And do I like my career?

The the answer was easy, after several clients wrote to me.. although I didn’t choose this career, I stayed with it year after year, knowing I was able to help others in a most Unique Way.. Knowing, I made a difference in a positive way for the betterment of the future generations, as a mother and grandmother I feel it is imperative that I continue as long as I can.

So, I truly believe when you ask yourself.. What type of person in my field are you looking for? I think that person should be me, the type as described, that is Only Unique to My Type of Service..

As a testament to my accolades, I’ve received referrals on a regular basis and for that I am most grateful.
