I was referred to Michael from a very good friend who spoke very highly of him. However, my experience hasn’t t been so great. I filed with him via telephone the beginning of April. I have yet to receive my return nor can I check the status of my return through the IRS website. Which has me feeling very uneasy. I have reached out to him multiple times and no response. I’d say this is my biggest upset with Michael. He is not good at communicating. It’s hard to trust, feel confident in him and refer him with his lack of communication. To me that is very unprofessional. Once he was paid it seems he has pretty much wiped his hands free and no longer follows through with responses. From the very beginning he lacked communication. We had an appointment set at 2 pm. I didn’t hear from him so come 230 I had to reach out. He still then didn’t even get me going until 2:50/3pm. I gave him 2 stars because he did work with me on payment. He does however not allow payment to be taken out of tax return, which is odd as every tax preparer I’ve gone to allows this. Still waiting on a response and my check.

I do not recommend working with A Jazz CPA. The owner, Angela, was very rude and not accommodating. I was actually shocked at how mean she was on the phone and even talked to many peers on what to do since I trusted her with personal information. I do not feel comfortable posting more to protect my identity, but I do want others to avoid her and protect them for what happened to me.

Even though I didn't need to explain myself, i did and she gave me a nasty look like "sure." I never went back after that. Mind you, she said this to me while also preparing my documents in her daughter's name so it looked like she was working. Pretty ironic.

The 2021 tax year return for the amount of almost $7k was wrongly sent to a bank I’ve never had an account with where sadly none of my money has ever been returned. Doug's only accountability was to send me to a Tax advocate that hasn't helped me to date. His incompetence has denied me my tax return for that year despite the evidence that I provided the correct information.

If you would like to have someone mess up your taxes or do a sloppy job go to mena! You can count on her She will make you pay up front to owe for two years as well as try to take an anticipated loan out in your name without you knowing!!! Shes not even worth 1 star Scam artist at its finest She file taxes in a struggling boutique. With no goggle profile smh

This man Yehia Bakr is a lying cheat scammer. He over charges for his so called services and then tried to scam you for work he never completes, stay away from this man.

I paid Pete to complete and submit my taxes for me. I had to move for work and he assured me that he would send me copies of my returns. I have emailed many times, it has been over 3 weeks with no response. I don't know if they have been filed or not. And how much I owe. He has not kept his word and I'm afraid that they haven't been filed at all. Based on this and that he has ghosted me, I would not recommend him.

Look elsewhere to get your taxes done. Told me they would file an extension. Didn’t respond to calls or texts and when finally was able to track him down, he didn’t know if he did or not and said would pay the fines. We made an appointment, I asked to send me the address, no word. I called day before appointment and he’s joking say he was probably drunk when making the appointment. In the end, he told me to find someone that’s more reliable after wasting my time and putting me in a terrible position. Don’t waste your time.

Do not use for your taxes. I have received a tax bill for 2021 because he failed to report income on my tax return that I provided to him. I have looked at previous years returns done by him and he puts false information in the return. They also steal part of your refund. They don’t have your refund put into your bank account directly from the IRS as it should be, instead they put it into their own account then they transfer it to you, but they keep part of it.

Totally unprofessional fraudulent behavior. Bad and discriminatory behavior towards clients. Does not inform about prices before and makes up prices after the work. Not recommend. You'd rather go to a professional and not to this amateur.

Unfortunately, I have not had a positive experience with Elena Wilske in processing a 2021 Estate/Trust tax return. I spoke with Elena at the beginning of April, and she agreed to assist with the return of my father's trust. I received notification that my account was set up in the portal but have not had any communication since. The return was due on April 15, 2023, and I have tried to call Elena a couple of times, I've sent emails, and even tried contacting her via chat on the EMW Consulting LLC online portal. As of today, April 26, 2023, I have no idea if an extension was filed or if it is delinquent. It is very frustrating and worrisome. Far from feeling this has been a positive experience.

I am writing this first, as a client. Bob goes above and beyond. I will never let anyone else do my taxes. Second, I'm writing this because I recommended Bob to my brother in law. Bob was able to help him at the last minute. However, my non tech BIL must have pushed a wrong button on the survey. He wanted me to fill out the survey again. It had expired. Both my BIL and I highly recommend Bob! We are sorry for the mistake.

Absolutely not reliable and seems like also not knowledgable either. He quoted me different, lower, price at the first call then he charged me in the end. I needed to repeat details for my tax return and my tax return amendment for previous year multiple times over multiple calls and event then he forgot to add details on my tax returns and was making changes additionally. He did my amended tax return wrong (or at least the outcome wasn't what he claimed it to be) and then he went silent. As soon as he gets paid he doesn't respond to messages, emails. Promises to give you feedback or do something in certain time frame and then he doesn't. Definitely avoid.

I used EDU for tax preparation for approximately 8 years after attending a seminar they conducted. I was very pleased with their service even after i retired and moved to Florida. They assured me they had clients living in Florida and had no problem receiving 1099 documents and other information sent either electronically or via postal services. Florida does not levy a state income tax and i hoped this would further simplify filing since only the Federal forms have to be completed. I received the tax check list in mid January and mailed the documents at the end of February. When i received the postal notification in early March that they got the Information i sent, i called to confirm they had what they required. This was the first of many attempts to reach them via phone only to get a recorded message. This is the final day before the deadline and i still have not heard from them. I am deeply disappointed that i have not heard *anything* about my status with them. I assumed they wished to continue our relationship when i received the checklist in January and am scurrying to get my obligation filed during the extension. I am also quite concerned about the documents i sent and if this presents a security threat. The complaint i have registered should now be attributed to this new company. I have finally received an email from them but have still not been able to resolve my tax filing for 2022. Do NOT use this company for any reason!

I've utilized the services of Pablo Saenz for the past four tax seasons, and I'm happy to say that my experience was far greater than anything I could've expected. More importantly, I truly do appreciate the professionalism and care in which Pablo demonstrated in handling my affairs. If Helen decides she doesn't like you anymore she will totally hold a grudge and not even give you any simple advice. Not even if you are willing to pay for it. As a Christian I believe in forgive and forget, this is not Helen's way of living in any way!!
